Privacy Notice
- Our customer details can be found in our business diaries and installation survey files. These details are kept at our registered address and can only be accessed by the owners. Some details may be held on a U.S.B stick to enable us to easily locate information.
- Our sales manager will hold customers details, which are passed to him by ourselves in order that he can make appointments with prospective customers. He may hold details that he may need for future reference.
- Our surveyor will have a record of all he has surveyed for us on his computer, for future reference should a query arise.
- We NEVER give out customers details to go on marketing websites.
- We may contact existing customers by post, no more than once a year, to advise of any offers or changes.
- We always ask a customers permission before giving out phone numbers to any tradesperson that may be associated with their installation.
- If any of our installations require associated building works, customers details may be held by bonafide tradespeople for possible future reference.
- We have to register our installations with Fensa to comply with building control.This requires us to supply them with customers details including phone numbers, in order that the installation can be held on their database. Subsequently a certificate is issued to the homeowner. Fensa then passes details to the company that issues Insurance Backed Guarantees.
- If the installation doesn’t require Fensa registration, but may still be required to have an Insurance Backed Guarantee, we pass details onto the relevant provider ourselves.
- Our accountants will store our customers contracts for a period of time, after which they are returned to us and stored for the relevant period of time as required by law. Any paperwork after this time would be taken for disposal as confidential waste.
